It's the Crappie time of the year!

As my good friend demonstrates below, it's time to catch Sac-a-lait (Crappie)!  Well, at least here in Southeast Louisiana...  So, break out the Crappie flies and get ready.  My favorite flies are the Crappie Candy and the Fluff Butt (The Crappie Candy is pictured below in both Stephens’s photo and my close-up).

Freetown Fries

Gourmet French Fries?  You bet cha!  If you're perusing around Lafayette, LA and you see the Freetown Fries trailer, do yourself a favor... STOP.  You won't be sorry!  My favorite is the Mediterranean Fry and of course the Naked fry.
