Actually, it's all of the above.  I purchased the paddle for my new Gheenoe 15'- 4" watercraft.  There will be a product review later!

Larry's New Ride!

Yesterday I purchased a 15'-4" Gheenoe from Pack & Paddle in Lafayette, LA.  I outfitted it with a trailer and a Nissan 9.8 hp 4 stroke hand till outboard from Redmond Marine.  I'm ready to hit the water!

Tickfaw River, Springfield, LA

I fished the Tickfaw River in Springfield, LA this past Saturday.  It was a gorgeous day to paddle.  I was joined by my good friend and Warm Fly Member Junebug13.  We were unaware that there was a fish kill in that area after hurricane Isaac.  No fish, but we had a wonderful time.

Taco Sisters (Mmmm...)

If you're in Lafayette, LA and looking for a sensational place to eat... it's TACO SISTERS !  The best seafood tacos and salads that has ever passed through my lips.  I love the smoked shrimp and fish tacos.  I give Taco Sisters two thumbs up!  (That's my gorgeous-stunning wife under the umbrella chowing down on a smoked shrimp taco).
