A new host for The New Fly Fisher - Rebekka Redd

Rebekka Redd is the latest addition to the crew of The New Fly Fisher. A great angler and teacher, Rebekka has fly fished throughout North America and beyond.  She is also an accomplished photographer and equestrian.  So far the response from the membership of the Warm Fly community regarding TNFF’s choice is… HAVE MERCY!

The New Fly Fisher is broadcast across Canada and the United States, available to millions of households through numerous networks and television stations. They are carried by two main broadcasters – Public Television (PBS) and the World Fishing Network (WFN). In addition, they are also broadcast on several quality smaller networks and stations such as NESN and Rogers Television plus the series is broadcast in countries such as Italy, Poland and Switzerland.

Bayou Teche Wooden Boat Show

The Bayou Teche Wooden Boat Show runs this Friday, Saturday and Sunday in  beautiful downtown Frankin, Louisiana along Parc sur la Teche!  The festival features all the activities associated with a typical Louisiana festival, music, food, and good company, but also includes field trips, educational exhibits and children’s activities relating to bears and the many other natural resources found in south Louisiana.
